Alpha Ultra Rods – Single Piece Element

The Alpha Ultra Rod Single Piece Element is a high-performance silicon carbide (SiC) heating element designed for maximum durability and efficiency. Its one-piece construction eliminates joints, the weakest point in conventional SiC heaters, while reinforced cold ends with a low-resistivity silicon alloy enhance conductivity and structural stability. Made from high-purity alpha silicon carbide grains, these rods undergo a recrystallization process, ensuring strong, uniform bonds for optimal density and resistance to harsh process atmospheres. With a maximum operating temperature of 1650°C, they provide consistent, high-efficiency heating, while the cold ends stay cool and allow easy installation with spring clamps and flat aluminum braids. Silcarb offers standard and custom SiC heating elements, ensuring energy efficiency, longevity, and minimal maintenance across various industrial applications.
