Dosing Furnaces

Precision Metal Dispensing with Energy Efficiency

OVERVIEW

Dosing Furnaces

Silcarb manufactures highly energy-efficient dosing furnaces in collaboration with its German partner, ensuring precision molten metal delivery with ±1% accuracy. These closed holding furnaces minimize heat loss and oxidation, making them a superior alternative to traditional holding furnaces and ladles.

Designed for pressure die-casting and gravity die-casting applications, Silcarb’s dosing furnaces eliminate the need for an auto ladle and can cater to multiple stations using a rail-mounted system. Special models feature nitrogen purging or porous plug technology for continuous degassing. All critical components, including electricals, are sourced from Germany, while fabrication, insulation, and consumables are manufactured at Silcarb’s Bangalore facility.

With a strong service network and readily available spare parts, Silcarb offers a reliable and cost-effective dosing solution.

FAQs

Silcarb manufactures a Rugged Crucible Type Aluminium Melting Furnace ?

Silcarb manufactures a Rugged Crucible Type Aluminium Melting Furnace (Silicon Carbide Crucible). These are mainly used in melting and holding high magnesium alloys of Aluminum and Copper. Silicon Carbide Heaters are used as the main heat source. Crucible furnaces are small capacity furnaces used for small melting applications or exclusively as holding furnaces. The metal is placed or poured into a ceramic crucible which is contained in a circular furnace that is fired by a gas burner or heated by electric elements/
