Recrystallized Silicon Carbide (RSIC)

Silcarb manufactures high-performance Recrystallized Silicon Carbide (RSIC) kiln furniture at temperatures up to 2600°C, using advanced slip casting, extrusion, and isostatic pressing processes. RSIC is made from highly pure silicon carbide, produced through evaporation-coagulation and fired under high temperatures to achieve a porous network structure. With high thermal conductivity and exceptional thermal shock resistance, RSIC products are self-bonded, offering superior performance in low mass kiln applications and temperatures up to 1650°C.
