Silcarb’s Mobile Electric Holding Furnaces are designed for energy-efficient molten metal transfer in die-casting plants. When used with Silcarb Shaft and Immersion Holding Furnaces, they create the most optimized system for metal casting operations.

In conventional non-heated transfer systems, molten metal loses 20-25°C during transport, leading to increased energy consumption and higher melt losses. Silcarb’s heated molten metal transfer system eliminates this issue, maintaining temperature consistency during transport and degassing—reducing oxidation, energy usage, and operational costs.
